What a Day to be Alive.

Rain Rain don't go away
The sun can come back another day.

Staring out the window
Rain falls like there's no tomorrow
Seeds of happiness i sow
But reap, not for my own.

It came to me then
That every prayer i depend
came to nought before me ;
Each descending peak on the LCD
Took you a little farther away from me.

Penned a poem on death
War as the greatest cause;
With a resounding melody from the line of tanks
Shreds of flesh fell from above
like blood red confetti falling from the sky.

----

Hours passed, the rain slows down to a trickle
Connectivity rings, it calls out
Our hand reaches out for the mobile
Only then, we are alive.

Only difference between you and i
Is choice.
For a day, i am dead
While all of you live as you do.

What a Day to Die Trying.

This is the end, where i begin.
